Erins Own 1-18 Blackrock 4-14

The sun was shining bright in caherlag this evening & you couldn’t of asked for better night for a game of hurling, we started off well with a well finished goal from Kieran Murphy who also added a point to that before half time, Eoghan Murphy hit four from frees & Sean Kelly, Mark Collins, Cormac Dooley, Kilian Murphy & Brian Clifford hit one each to give us a lead at halftime of 1-10 to Blackrocks 0-09, the second half started of ok with Eoghan Murphy staying on target with his frees hitting five more, mid way saw Blackrock getting four goals which gave them a lead of five points despite points from Sean Kelly, Mark Collins & Kieran Murphy it was to much of a lead to claw back before the final whistle, Kieran Murphy, Cormac Dooley Mark Collins & Sean Kelly played well,
