Under 8: A good number of new young players have started their training and coaching under the patient and watchful eye of Emmett Guest,If there are any further youths of this age in the parish who are interested in participating,they would be most welcome to attend.

Under 10 : Training has been ongoing for this group under new coach,Joe O’ Callaghan ably assisted by both Peter Brosnan and John Baker.
Training has been indoors in the Little Island Community Hall and has recently moved to outdoors.
The first match for this group took place against Midleton.
A large group of 22 players turned out on a cold but sunny morning at the pitch in Midleton C.B.S.
A lively contest ensued and a well taken goal was scored by half forward Stephen Galvin.
However Midleton equalized early in the second half and the final score remained level despite the best efforts of both teams.

Under 14 :The Under 14 s opened this seasons campaign with an East Cork Hurling League game against near neighbours Sarsfields.
The score was a draw at ,Erins Own 5-6 to Sars 4-9.

Under 16 :
Erins Own under 16 s scored a fine win over Russell Rovers in the East Cork under 16 football league in Caherlag on Sunday evening.last.
Played under very blustery condition both teams served up some very entertaining football.
Best for Erins Own were Mossy Carroll who dominated midfield throughout, Cormac Dooley and Dave Smiddy who defended admirably and Jack Barry at corner forward who created lots of opportunity.
Score : Erins Own 4-9 Russell Rovers 4-4.

Fundraising :.
The Feile Fe-14 hurling competion is due to take place on the weekend of June 17th in Cork again this year.Erins Own Juvenille Club will be hosting a team ,as yet to be decided.With this in mind a fundraising event was organized by way of an Easter Egg raffle last weekend which was huge success.Our sincere thanks go to the companies who generously sponsored this worthy cause, Butlers Choclates ,Irish Chocolates,Super-Valu Midleton, Tesco Midleton,Dunnes Stores and Lidl Midleton and of course to all those who bought raffle tickets.
Thanks is also extended to our lady Treasurer, Susan Scanlon for her initiative and organization of this event.
